Present: Static: Flashcards
Flashcards have content on the front and content on the back, and can be flipped over individually. They are designed to display an image on the front, and additional content on the back.
The image on the front is displayed in full, and determines the size of the card by default. All cards on a single screen should have images of the same size. An additional image or text or both can be placed on the back. The back of the card will scroll if necessary to display its content.
If the back of the card has more content (such as an image and a caption, or an image where only a word is present on the front), you can set the back to determine the default height. Do this by using the DIV Class dropdown to add the class block-flashcards-back to the containing contentblock.
The width of the cards can be adjusted using the Card Format dropdown in Activity Type Options. The available choices are:
- Portrait - small
- Landscape - medium
- Square - large
This setting will adjust how many cards will be displayed in each row on larger screens. Remember that cards with a lot of content should be larger.
Regardless of which size setting is used, a single row of flashcards will always expand to fill the available width.
