Making Wenta.co.uk the UK’s Most Trusted Business Support Destination

This page summarises my approach to building a high‑performing digital ecosystem for Wenta.
It reflects the principles I shared in my interview presentation: clarity, accessibility, insight‑driven decision‑making and empowering specialists to deliver great content.
It’s designed to give a sense of how I think, how I lead and how I build publishing systems that grow over time.

Vision
My vision for Wenta.co.uk is to create a digital ecosystem with purpose — a platform that reflects Wenta’s mission to make business support accessible, practical and genuinely useful.
This means:
• A trusted national destination for start‑ups and small businesses
• A seamless journey from learning → doing → thriving
• A multi‑format publishing engine (articles, tools, templates, video, Wenta TV)
• A performance‑led website that improves every month
• A model that empowers specialists across Wenta to contribute with clarity and confidence
This is about building something that works for users, works for Wenta, and grows sustainably over time.

Strategic Approach
My approach is built around six core principles:
• Performance First — daily insight, fast decisions, continuous optimisation
• Editorial Direction — tone of voice, content model, publishing rhythm
• Website Ownership — structure, UX, templates, conversion
• Audience Insight — search behaviour, analytics, client needs
• Team Empowerment — enabling advisors, trainers and contributors
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Business Advice, Centres, Training, Partnerships
This framework ensures the website evolves with purpose, not by accident.

The Publishing Model
A clear publishing model helps teams understand what we create and why.
I use four content types:
• Foundation Content — evergreen guides and structured content
• Performance Content — high‑intent, search‑led content for national reach
• Responsive Content — timely, trend‑led content reacting to policy and market shifts
• Signature Content — Wenta TV, video explainers, tools, templates, interactive learning
This creates a balanced, scalable content ecosystem.

SEO & Discovery Philosophy
SEO is ultimately about understanding what people need and making it easy for them to find it.
My approach focuses on:
• Real search behaviour and user questions
• Clear content themes (Start, Grow, Workspace)
• Straightforward titles, headings and descriptions
• Connecting related content so users never hit dead ends
• Helping people find local workspace easily
• Reaching users across the UK with clear, useful guidance
It’s simple, human and insight‑driven.

Website Ownership & Continuous Improvement
A website is a living product — not a project.
My approach includes:
• A clear roadmap for structure, templates and content architecture
• Daily performance monitoring and pattern spotting
• User‑centred journeys for Start, Grow and Workspace
• Monthly insight cycles and optimisation sprints
This ensures the site evolves in line with user needs and Wenta’s goals.

Team Enablement
Great content comes from empowered specialists.
My role is to:
• Set direction
• Build the publishing model
• Create the structures and workflows
• Provide clarity, templates and governance
• Support advisors, trainers and contributors to publish confidently
This is how you scale quality without bottlenecks.

Quick Wins & Early Momentum
Early improvements build trust and demonstrate value quickly.
My initial focus would be on:
• Making Wenta easier to find online
• Improving key user journeys
• Surfacing Wenta’s best content
• Introducing a simple publishing rhythm
• Launching clear performance dashboards
These actions create immediate impact while laying the foundations for long‑term growth.
